The main objective of the BISP program is to create awareness among children about moral values, health, hygiene, and related issues. A total of 1.9 million children will benefit from the BISP Kafalat initiative, and provide them with access to quality education comparable to that provided to other children.
The special board game designed for this purpose is designed to educate children about their rights and responsibilities and thereby enable them to contribute to the prosperity of the country. Several initiatives have been launched under this program to uphold the rights of children.
Online Registration for BISP 8171 Program
Online registration for BISP is now open and you can apply via these steps:
- Candidates can submit their application online for BISP.
- You can check your registration status using your ID card or visit the official website of BISP, www.bisp.gov.pk where the registration form is available.
- Fill up the registration form and submit your request. Benazir Kafaalat Program provides Rs. 10,500 to the government beneficiaries.

If you have already applied for the BISP Kafalat program and are not sure about your eligibility, you can check it through the web portal. The Benazir Income Support Program launched by the Government of Pakistan aims to improve the quality of life of the poor.
This program was started in 2008 under the People’s Party government and is named after Benazir Bhutto (Benazir Income Support Program). The government’s aim is to ensure that people from poor and middle-class backgrounds have sufficient resources to meet their basic needs like education, health, food, and housing.

Online Registration for Ehsaas BISP Portal 8171
The Government of Pakistan has launched the 8171 web portal for the public. Through this portal, people can check their eligibility and payment status.
- If you qualify for the Benazir Kafaalat program and are already receiving assistance, you can check your balance through the 8171 web portal.
- The portal serves as the BISP eligibility verification tool and provides snapshots of eligibility checks.
- You will need your ID card for this process.
If you are not eligible for the program, re-enrollment can be done through a dynamic survey. The BISP portal simplifies the eligibility verification process. Eligible people are enrolled in the program.

8171 Official Website for Program
In 2021, when the Benazir Income Support Program was renamed and expanded to the Ehsaas Program, its official website was www.ehsaas.gov.pk. This website provides information about all Ehsaas programs. Now that the name of the program has been changed to “Benazir Income Support Program”, the official website is bisp.gov.pk where you can find detailed information about BISP.
What’s the SMS Code for BISP
The Benazir Income Support Program provides a helpline number, 8171. This number allows people who are not comfortable using the internet to check their eligibility through SMS or to file BISP-related complaints.
The helpline provides information and help. In case of any problems like non-receipt or withdrawal of funds, you can call or send a message to the BISP helpline number.
