  • Start Date: Dec 1, 2024
  • Phase Two Status: Completed
  • Included Initiatives: Benazir Kafaalat and Taleemi Wazaif programs
  • Verification Method: BISP 8171 Portal
  • Required Survey: Regular beneficiaries must update their family details.
  • Lock-up Period: Two years for unupdated forms.

Combined Payments for Kafaalat and Taleemi Wazaif Programs

Beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafalat Program will receive their payments alongside scholarship funds for children. This combined payment distribution approach has been consistent throughout earlier phases and will remain unchanged.

Updates to the 8171 Web Portal

The BISP 8171 web portal now has various features, like PMT scores and payment history that show important details about payments. These updates improve privacy, security, and accessibility, including potential personal account options.

Special Provisions for Ineligible Women

Women considered ineligible based on new surveys can still withdraw previous payments during this phase. This opportunity will not recur for the next two years. A new survey after this period will recheck eligibility for future payments.

Mandatory Updates for Regular BISP Beneficiaries

Regular beneficiaries must update their NSER database records through a fresh survey. Failure to do so will result in disqualification for two years, without re-registration during this period. New women are also welcome to join through this survey process.

Last Words

This last phase shows a dedication of the BISP Program to give 10,500 payments to poor people in the rural areas where they can’t be able to make their identity cards.
