An online portal now facilitates this process, and a recent agreement with the Bank of Punjab confirms the quarterly payment of Rs 10500 to all eligible beneficiaries every three months. Agreement with BOP for Himmat Card Program
Those who register for Maryam Nawaz’s Himmat card can expect to receive it on September 15. After the distribution, the first payment of Rs 10500 will be available to meet basic needs. CM Maryam Nawaz attended a ceremony where Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Punjab Sohail Shaukat Butt signed an agreement with the Bank of Punjab, initiating this much-awaited assistance program.
Beyond financial assistance, the program provides assistance that makes travel and daily activities easier and more comfortable for people.
Punjab to Provide Assistive Device At Your Home
The Punjab Himmat Card is critical for the elderly, disabled, and special needs who are unable to take care of themselves or find employment. Aware of their plight, the Punjab government has committed to not only providing financial assistance but also delivering aid directly to their homes starting September 15. This initiative helps them live more independently and comfortably.
BOP Issues ATM Cards to 65000 Disabled People
The program will issue Bank of Punjab ATM cards to 65,000 people with various disabilities. Each cardholder will receive a quarterly allowance of Rs 10500. We will distribute the cards in two phases: the first phase will reach 40,000 people, and the second phase will distribute cards to another 25,000 people. Payments will be made via the Himmat Card starting September 15.

What is the Himmat Card, and how does it help?
The Himmat Card is a comprehensive package of financial assistance and other services for people with disabilities. Currently, the government has announced a quarterly payment of Rs 7500 for those who meet the requirements. This card will also serve as a gateway to future government services for special people.
Who is eligible to receive assistance with the Himmat Card?
To enroll in the Himmat Card scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The person must be certified as a Person with Disability (PWD) by Punjab Social Welfare.
- The disabled person must be classified as unable to work.
- The person must not be employed in the public or private sector.
- The applicant must not have received any recent payment from BISP, PSPA, Zakat Fund, Bait-ul-Mal, or similar organizations.
- The PMT score issued by BISP must be 37 or less.
- The individual’s basic information, including 13-digit CNIC number, address, phone number, education, and experience, must be updated in the DPMIS system.
