The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has announced that the new registration process will remain open for eligible families until 2027. Over the next three years, new households can complete their enrollment at Tehsil offices using their CNIC ID cards. Families already enrolled in the program can also recertify their details to continue receiving payments.

BISP, one of the largest social protection programs in Pakistan, supports one crore deserving families living below the poverty line. Every quarter, the program expands its scope and increases the amount it provides to beneficiaries.

Official sources say that enrollment in the Benazir program will continue for the next three years, giving people enough time to register through the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) Survey. Those who register early will receive the monthly 13,500 Kafalat Qist sooner.

BISP Quarterly Installments To Be Increased in 2025

BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid shared the program updates with the media and showed her gratitude for the efforts of the team. She stated that the quarterly installment will increase to Rs 13,500 from January 2025 on the directive of the President and senior PPP leaders. The objective is to make payments more accessible through online channels and ensure that beneficiaries can collect their money easily and without deductions.

Changes in BISP Payment Method After Four Years

Naveed Akbar, Director General of BISP, recently mentioned the issue of monthly Kafaalat installment deductions in a TV show. He confirmed that BISP is moving toward a completely digital payment system to avoid such issues and reduce the need for beneficiaries to travel frequently to collect their stipends.

New Payment Method for Disbursements of Rs 13,500 Quarterly Stipend

Under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari, the Government of Pakistan increased the BISP budget, resulting in a 20% increase in quarterly installments. Starting January 2025, all eligible women will receive Rs 13,500 through a new transparent banking system. With biometric verification, beneficiaries can withdraw their payments from any approved ATM without having to wait for long.
