The Chairperson also announced plans to launch the Benazir Skills Training Program, which aims to impart valuable skills to women and their families. We expect this program to align with national and international standards and create new job opportunities. The focus is on improving the living standards of eligible families, creating greater financial independence, and including more needy families in the program.

The program will provide additional financial assistance to families and help them meet their daily expenses. We designed it to support poor families without making them dependent.

Empowering Women Across Pakistan

Senator Khalid restated that this program, launched by President Asif Ali Zardari and inspired by the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, provides financial assistance to eligible women in the family. This initiative not only provides economic empowerment but also recognition to many women across Pakistan. Women who wish to join the program are required to present their CNIC ID card. Many women, especially in rural areas and informal settlements, do not have a CNIC card. Therefore, joining this program will help them gain a sense of identity and recognition.
