The Government of Punjab has launched a door-to-door survey under the PSER initiative to collect information on underprivileged people and ensure their access to government schemes. During her swearing-in ceremony, Ms. Maryam Nawaz highlighted the lack of reliable data on parcel distribution during Ramadan and assured that comprehensive data collection would be carried out expeditiously across Punjab.
Punjab started the PSER door-to-door survey
In line with this commitment, PSER registration has been initiated. Teams appointed by the Government of Punjab are actively providing registration services in the districts. So far, data of over 6.5 million beneficiaries has been collected and the registration process is underway. BenazirKafaalat.pk
PSER registration centers have been established
The Government of Punjab has set up more than 5,000 PSER registration centres across the province. Many people have already completed the registration process at these centres and others continue to register to avail official government initiatives. Public educational institutions are currently closed due to summer vacation and are being used as registration centres.

Ms. Maryam Nawaz stressed the need to set up more registration centers in every district to facilitate access for people who are not internet savvy or cannot register online from home.
New PSER Registration through the Punjab Portal
The Punjab portal also provides an online PSER registration option.
- Users can register by entering their National Identity Card number, email address, password, and captcha code on the portal.
- After registration, the PSER registration form home page appears, which asks the user to provide information about the head of the household.
- After completing the application form, users have to verify the accuracy of their information before submitting it.

Soon after, eligibility will be checked and qualified individuals will be provided assistance from Punjab Government schemes. Ms. Maryam Nawaz pointed out that those enrolled in PSER will be included in various government assistance initiatives including the Solar Panel Scheme, Ramadan Nigehban Package, Kisan Card, and Green Tractor Scheme.
