On August 27, 2024, KP Governor Faisal Kundi visited the BISP Chairperson office to meet President Rubina Khalid and her team. BISP to expand their offices to Union Council Level

During his visit to BISP headquarters, Kundi welcomed the program’s decision to expand its offices to the union council level. This expansion wants to provide essential services directly to those who need them, reduce dependency, and guide women toward economic stability.

KP Governor Address about Social Media Misinformation

The Governor also suggested that BISP activities be managed directly under the program to combat misleading information and misleading campaigns on social media. He focused on the importance of combating false narratives.

BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid emphasized the initiative’s focus on addressing the challenges faced by the poor and mentioned the plan to send payments directly into beneficiaries’ accounts. The objective was also on preparing beneficiaries for eventual self-employment and exit from the program.
