On September 1, DC Abdul Rauf Mahar announced the launch of Kisan Card distribution centres across Lodhran district as part of Punjab Chief Minister’s Agriculture Transformation Programme. What is the Kisan Card Distribution Plan?
Kisan Cards are distributed to farmers in all three Lodhran districts who own between 1 and 12.5 hectares of land. We equip each center with seating, drinking water, and other essential amenities to ensure a pleasant experience for farmers.
Facilities and Purpose of Distribution Centres
In a review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the establishment of these centers to streamline the registration and receipt of Kisan Cards. The card is critical for farmers because it provides access to a variety of facilities, such as solar tube wells, tractors, and improved water management systems. BenazirKafaalat.pk
