BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid has announced new initiatives to make payment distribution more accessible. The most notable change is the replacement of the franchise system with an online banking system. This will ensure that beneficiaries receive their Rs 13500 Kafaalat payments directly into their bank accounts. The objective is to make sure that beneficiaries receive their payments in an easier and more dignified manner.
BISP Beneficiaries To Receive Payments Directly Into Their Accounts
Speaking to the media in Chillas, Rubina Khalid explained several key steps taken to rapid payment distribution. Under the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari, BISP is transitioning its payment distribution to a banking system. This will allow beneficiaries to withdraw the entire payment directly from their bank account without any intermediaries.
What’s the reason behind the new cash distribution system through banks?
This change is a part of a larger initiative to improve BISP’s transparency and guarantee the dignity of payments. Using banks for withdrawals simplifies the process, and beneficiaries can easily receive their payments.
Rubina Khalid addressed the beneficiaries’ concerns during her visit, assuring them of a prompt resolution to their problems. She also reminded them that the official BISP number is 8171, not 7181, and warned them against fake messages or calls.

In the last few days, Rubina Khalid visited several areas, including Skardu and Gilgit-Baltistan, to check the conditions at the local Tehsil offices and meet beneficiaries. During her visit to Chilas, Rubina Khalid interacted with numerous women, listened to their challenges, and emphasized that she would not tolerate any mistreatment or unauthorized deduction of benefits. To address these issues, BISP has set up a new call center with a dedicated helpline (0800-26477).

Enroll in Multiple BISP Programs
The Benazir Income Support Program continues at Tehsil offices across Pakistan to make sure that more people can take advantage of it. Rubina Khalid also spoke about the difficulties women face while traveling for registration. Besides the Benazir Kafaalat Programme, other initiatives such as the Skilled Training Programme, Taleemi Wazaif, and Nashonuma help families improve their lives and contribute to the country’s economy.
