Latest Update: PM Approved an Increase in the BISP Budget for the New 13500 Payment from 2025

Senator Rubina Khalid recently gave an update on the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). Speaking to the media, she expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for increasing the BISP budget for the coming year. This budget increase will include more eligible families to register through the NSER survey under the BISP 8171 program.

Shahbaz Sharif Announces BISP Budget Increase: 13500 New Payments

During a visit to Skardu, BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid shared positive news with the beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafaalat Programme. She confirmed that PM Shehhaz Sharif has approved an increase in the BISP budget to provide financial assistance to more people.

Starting January 2025, all women registered in the Benazir Kafalat Program will receive an increased payment of Rs 13500 through a new banking system. Families previously considered ineligible now have another chance to apply as the program expands its scope through the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) survey.

Target: 1 Crore Beneficiaries Before Year-End

To ensure payment continuity, BISP Tehsil offices will continue to accept new registrations while already registered families undergo recertification. According to Rubina Khalid in a press conference, the goal is to register 1 crore beneficiaries before the end of the year, a goal made possible thanks to the Government of Pakistan’s efforts.

What is the procedure to register for the 13500 Benazir Kafalat Payment?

To apply for the new 13500 BISP payments, please visit your Benazir regional district office. The process includes:

1. Visit the BISP Tehsil center near you.
2. Present your NADRA ID Card and your children’s B-Form at the registration office.
3. Receive a token for a new or updated survey.
4. Confirm your number and provide your financial and personal details to the data entry operator.
5. End of manual on-site verification.
6. You will receive a message from 8171 to confirm your eligibility.

Verifying CNIC Registration for NSER survey

Here’s how to verify your eligibility:

1. Visit the BISP website: bisp.gov.pk.
2. Select “Check Eligibility”.
3. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number and submit.
4. View your PMT  on the next page.
