The wait for beneficiaries is finally over! The second phase of the Benazir Kafalat Program payments has officially begun. Women who regularly receive Kafaalat payments under this program can now visit their nearest BISP cash center to collect their stipends. Previously, BISP distributed the payments in phases. While the first phase covered 19 districts, this new phase includes 56 districts across the country.
If your district is part of this phase, make sure to go through the proper steps to collect your payment. This article gives a complete guide to ensure you can receive your payments without delay. We also share whether you can use bank ATMs to withdraw these payments.
Payments Receiving Method in the Second Phase
Only women from the 56 eligible districts can collect payments in this phase. If you want to check if your district is included in the list, we mentioned it below; therefore, completely read the article.
In order to collect payments, beneficiaries must bring their original valid ID card to the nearest BISP payment center. When they reach, they will go through a screening process. At this stage we will update the people who haven’t got their payments and ask them to return later. For the rest of the people, we will issue a token, and they will be sent to the waiting room. Once their turn arrives according to the token number, the bank representatives will complete verification, and they will get the money.
Can You Withdraw Second Phase Payments Through Bank ATMs?
Currently, there is no option to withdraw funds via bank ATMs. In order to collect your payments, women can visit their closest BISP Tehsil center. Don’t believe any third-party agents who say they will send you payments; the only official BISP code is 8171.
