PITB chairman Faisal Yousaf shared the update on November 18 during a review meeting in Lahore that we’re going to add 10 more districts to the CM Maryam Ki Dastak program. From now onward, the program will cover a total of 32 districts in Punjab. This means that citizens of these new districts will now be able to get a wide range of government services at their doorstep.
Maryam Ki Dastak Program Added 10 New Districts
The CM Maryam Ki Dastak Program first launched in a few major districts like Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot. It will now cover 10 new locales to include:
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Vehari
- Lodhran
- Toba Tek Singh
- Layyah
- Rajanpur
- Nankana Sahib
- Chinot
- Gujarat
- Chushhab
Citizens of these districts will be able to avail themselves of services like certificate applications, property registration, vehicle documentation, and much more without visiting government offices.
More Than 65 Government Services Via Maryam Ki Dastak App
The scheme offers more than 65 government services that make life easier for citizens. Some of the important services include:
- Marriage certificates, birth certificates, and death certificates.
- Property and vehicle records.
- Token tax payments
- Electronic stamping
All the trained facilitators managed these services and made sure proper delivery right to your doorstep.
Dastak App Makes Registrations Easier
The Punjab Govt made this scheme to simplify processes and benefit people who have difficulty getting to government offices. Mothers, senior citizens, and busy professionals can now access services without leaving home, saving time and energy.
Why Maryam Ki Dastak App is Important?
Citizens can register through the Maryam Ki Dastak app or web portal. In order to handle citizen complaints, the government has launched a helpline number on 1202 to answer all queries.
Expansion in Kisan Cards and Free Tractors Distribution
In Hafizabad, Maryam Nawaz Sharif formally shared updates about the Kisan card scheme. The number of cards issued increased from 5 lakh to 7.5 lakh, giving more farmers access to fertilizers, pesticides, and loans of up to Rs 100,000. 150,000.
Farmers farming up to 25 acres will now get free tractors along with access to rented farm equipment and fertilizers.
