The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced a new update for beneficiaries who have completed the NSER survey at their local office in Benazir Tehsil and are tracking their CNIC updates online. Those who are eligible and listed as beneficiaries will receive an extra Rs 3000 in addition to their current payment of Rs 10500. The online banking system will provide access to the total amount of Rs 13500 from January 2025.

To make the payment process smoother and more transparent, BISP has partnered with six other banks. This step will address long-standing issues with payments by some retailers. If there are any issues with partner banks, BISP is committed to taking immediate action, including terminating contracts.

At a press conference, Senator Rubina Khalid expressed gratitude for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s decision to increase BISP’s financial budget. This increase will lead to a higher disbursement of Benazir Kafalat next year.
Details of the NSER New Dynamic Survey
BISP continues to conduct the NSER survey across the country, registering thousands of participants every day. We encourage those who have already participated in the survey to recertify themselves, ensuring their eligibility for the new payment of Rs 13500.
During a recent visit to the BISP zonal office in Gilgit, Chairperson Rubina Khalid said that registration would continue through the dynamic registration centers. We will recertify previously registered families to update their socio-economic status.
Skilled Training and Direct Employment for Beneficiaries
Additionally, Rubina Khalid announced the upcoming Benazir Skilled Training Program, which will offer skill development opportunities to eligible women and their families. The training will help beneficiaries get jobs, improve their quality of life, and enable more families to benefit from the program, according to national and international standards.
