The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has announced an important update to the ongoing registration process. Recently, previously ineligible government employees can now apply for the Benazir Kafaalat program through the NSER survey. This change is specifically applicable to employees in grades 1 to 4.
Grades 1-4 Govt Employees Can Also Apply for BISP Program
The Government of Pakistan has now authorized BISP to include government employees in grades 1 to 4 in its assistance programs. This update allows people previously excluded due to their employment status in government organizations to register in the Benazir Kafalat Program, provided they belong to the specified grades.
Revised Eligibility Criteria
Until recently, BISP eligibility rules excluded families with a government employee from receiving monthly payments. However, from September 9, this restriction was lifted for families of government employees in grades 1 to 4, allowing them to be part of the program.
BISP Scheme Opens New Registration
The Benazir Income Support Programme registration is currently open in all Tehsil offices nationwide. Eligible people can apply for monthly installments. Although government employees have approved this new inclusion, BISP has not yet made an official statement.
