This represents a quarter of all program beneficiaries across Pakistan. People widely regard the BISP as an essential initiative to improve the lives of the poor people in the province.

In addition, Rubina Khalid visited technical and vocational training centers in Karachi to encourage youth to pursue careers in advanced fields.

Senator Rubina Khalid on Wednesday visited STEVTA Staff College in New Karachi to inspect the departments and training programs offered by the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA). The director, Zarqa Saeed, briefed her about the various programs offered by the institution.

Rubina Khalid confirmed that BISP now uses a safer and more transparent payment system. To ensure that every beneficiary receives their monthly payment on schedule and without any deductions, BISP has made arrangements with six different banks instead of relying on a single one.
