Naveed Akbar recently released an update on the BISP program, confirming that individuals who completed their surveys and registered before Ramazan will be eligible for the upcoming installments of Benazir Kafaalat and Taleemi Wazaif. This announcement is particularly welcome news for those who have made requests but have not yet received payments from the Benazir Income Support Scheme.
As payments end from April to June and the list of beneficiaries for the next cycle is ready, those who completed survey 8171 before Ramazan can now expect to receive their payment in October.
All the women surveyed before Ramazan will be eligible for payments in October
The BISP program continues its mission to support Pakistan’s poorest citizens, focusing on those living below the poverty line. As part of this effort, beneficiaries whose financial situation has improved will be phased out of the program in September.
On the contrary, those who have completed their registration recently, especially before Ramadan, will be included in the list for the next installment.
8171 check CNIC number online status for 12500
If you are not sure whether you are eligible for the next installment of the Benazir Income Support Scheme, you can easily check your status online using your mobile phone:
- Visit https://8171.bisp.gov.pk/ to access the Ehsaas 8171 web portal.
- Enter the code shown in the image along with your CNIC number.
- Select “Check Eligibility”.
- On the next page, you can view your eligibility status.

The Benazir Kafalat Scheme offers quarterly payments to those who qualify for it. Recently, the scheme completed the payment cycle from April to June and more than 91% of women have received their payments. New registrations are done at the Tehsil offices where eligible people can provide their details and get a receipt as payment confirmation of 10,500.
There is a possibility that due to rising inflation, BISP may increase the next Kafalat payment to 12,500. Any woman or family with poverty score below 30 can benefit from the scheme.

Step-by-step guide for the Ehsaas Kafalat Program application
How to complete your Kafalat registration:
- Visit your district BISP Tehsil center.
- Go to the BISP Dynamic registration office.
- Give the Form B and your children’s CNIC card to the clerk.
- You will be given a token for the new or revised survey.
- Use the token to access the registration section where a data entry clerk will ask you questions about your personal and financial details.
- Complete your thumb verification after completing the application form.
- You will receive a confirmation message from 8171.
- Eligible households will receive a confirmation email confirming their participation in the BISP 8171 program after additional verification.

Eligible people for the 12500 October Kafalat payment
To qualify for the October 12,500 payment, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Pakistani citizen.
- Be in need of assistance and be at least 18 years old.
- Have a female relative with a valid ID card.
- Be a single, divorced, or widowed woman with no male relatives.
- Families whose members have physical or mental difficulties are eligible.
- Have a poverty score of less than 30.
