Former PM and Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif announced a relief package that will reduce electricity bills by Rs 14 per unit for consumers using up to 500 units. In a press conference, he mentioned that the Punjab government has come up with this scheme to reduce electricity bills in the months of August and September. This scheme is specifically targeted at consumers whose consumption is between zero and 500 units.
