Good news for women eligible for the Benazir Nashonuma Program! The BISP Program offices have started a new survey for pregnant and lactating women (PLW). BISP staff started collecting the data, and thousands of women go to these offices every day so that they can receive monthly nutritional food and a stipend of Rs 2,500.
The Nashonuma Scheme provides conditional cash assistance to its beneficiaries, unlike the Benazir Kafaalat, which disburses unconditional cash transfers to 9.3 million beneficiaries. Below is a breakdown of what the BISP Program covers and the steps you need to take to complete the registration for the Nashonuma Scheme.
Benazir Nashonuma Registrations for the November Month
The Benazir Income Support Program has been a major social development initiative focusing on improving the status of women in Pakistan for over 16 years. It will give financial security to women and help them provide for their children even in the most difficult circumstances.
The Nashonuma Scheme most importantly assists low-income pregnant women and mothers of children under two years of age. A new package of Rs 3,000 will help mothers buy nutritious food to support their children’s development.
How to Check Your CNIC Status in the Nashonuma Program
Checking Nashonuma status updates is simple and the same as the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif process. First, you have to visit the official BISP portal at 8171.bisp.gov.pk. There you see the large box asking you to enter your 13-digit CNIC number and the code given on the screen. After that, your information will display in a few moments. This will allow you to see your payment update in just a few seconds.
