Punjab Govt Livestock Scheme Includes 40,000 Farmers
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched this innovative initiative for the first time in Pakistan to improve access to animal feed by providing interest-free loans to farmers. This scheme benefits 40,000 farmers in the initial phase by providing interest-free loans of Rs 2.5 lakh for livestock feeding. The payment period is fixed at 90 days.

Eligibility requirements include Pakistani citizenship, permanent residency of the Punjab, and valid membership of CNIC and BISP. The motive of the scheme is to help breeders achieve financial independence.
