The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) aims to improve the lives of poor families in Pakistan by providing them with financial support to meet their basic needs and run their small businesses. To further support these people, BISP is now offering skill development training that enables beneficiaries to get international certification, thereby opening up job opportunities abroad.
The BISP program’s focus is on people’s financial independence
In a recent announcement, BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid described the relaunch of BISP’s skill development program that focuses on human resource development. She stressed that this initiative is not only meant to help people achieve financial independence but also to contribute to the economy at large. Her statements were made during a media interview after a meeting at BISP’s provincial headquarters.
The financial support provided by BISP is intended to serve as a side income to the beneficiaries and help them meet their healthcare expenses, their children’s education expenses, and other essential needs. This support is intended to provide a foundation and not replace other sources of income. BenazirKafaalat.pk

Rubina Khalid urged the BISP officials to collaborate with reputable organizations that provide training in craft design and other skills. She believes that this collaboration will help beneficiaries obtain certifications that meet international standards, which will not only increase international trade but also make it easier for people to find employment abroad.
