Great news for BISP beneficiaries who completed their registration at the Tehsil office—Benazir Kafaalat has started distributing the September payments of Rs 10500 in various areas across Pakistan. As per the latest data, the BISP has released the quarterly payments in Sargodha for nearly 250,000 registered women. Here’s a look at how these beneficiaries are receiving their payments and who qualifies for the September to December installment.
Kafaalat Payments Distribution Among 250,000 Beneficiaries in Sargodha
The Benazir Income Support Program for the Sargodha District has begun issuing the quarterly tranche for September to December 2024. This started on Friday, with 73,000 women from Sargodha City and 180,000 women from other parts of the district set to receive their payments. Raazia Asim, the deputy director, shared that each beneficiary can collect their payment of Rs 10500 from the nearest designated BISP campsite.
How does the BISP distribute new installments to beneficiaries?
Over 250,000 women in Sargodha are now eligible for their payments under the Benazir Kafalat Program. Beneficiaries can collect their payments from campsites located near their homes in each Tehsil. Only those who have received a message from 8171 are eligible. So, before heading to a campsite, make sure you’ve received the confirmation message for your September payment and remember to bring your ID card for verification.
14 BISP Campsites Set Up in Sargodha
To make the payment process smooth and transparent, BISP has set up campsites across the Sargodha district. In total, there are 14 sites:
- 5 in Sargodha City
- 2 in Sillanwali
- 2 in Sahiwal
- 2 in Kotmomin
- 1 in Bhera
- 1 in Shah Pur
- 1 in Bhulwal
Partnership for Transparent Payments between SBP and BISP
The State Bank of Pakistan and the Benazir Income Support Program have collaborated to make sure that the payment distribution is both organized and transparent. The SBP governor, Jameel Ahmed, and BISP chairperson, Senator Rubina Khalid, met to review the new approach, focusing on creating an efficient system for distributing stipends to deserving women.
