Current and new BISP beneficiaries, along with families interested in joining the program, received the final announcement. The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is currently conducting a survey at its Tehsil offices. We recommend visiting the nearest BISP office to register for the NSER survey, as there is no online portal or social media platform available for this purpose.

Recertification Last Date for Current Beneficiaries

BISP Director General Naveed Akbar recently confirmed in an interview with The Morning TV Show that the recertification deadline for current beneficiaries is December 30. Failure to complete the recertification process, even if you are already receiving payments, will result in your removal from the program and future eligibility for payments.

Does the December last date apply to everyone?

This deadline only affects registered people who are already in the program but have not recertified their details. Does not apply to new applicants. The objective is to verify, through the NSER survey, whether current beneficiaries still meet the criteria for receiving BISP unconditional payments.

What happens if you miss the survey deadline?

BISP officials have made it clear that they will immediately remove eligible people from the beneficiary list and suspend their monthly payments if they do not complete the survey by December 30.

Who qualifies for the new Kafalat payment of Rs 13,500 from BISP?

The program has certain rules to ensure that the assistance reaches the rightful recipients:

  • The applicant must be a Pakistani citizen.
  • Anyone aged 18 or over who is experiencing financial difficulties can apply.
  • A valid ID card is required and female family members are essential for the application process.
  • Widows, divorced women or families with no male members are eligible.
  • Families with members with physical or mental disabilities are also eligible.
  • Applicants must have a poverty score below 32.

We have extended the NSER survey for 2021 and 2022 beneficiaries to December 30, 2024. The program will remove registered people if they do not complete recertification by then. We advise families to visit the Tehsil office before the last date to ensure their continued assistance.
