There is some latest news for those joining the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and completing their NSER survey through the 8171 web portal. The next round of payments is expected to be released soon. Beneficiaries newly registered in the Benazir Kafaalat Programme will receive their payments in December, thanks to a new banking system introduced by BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid.

The Benazir Income Support Program is expanding its reach to all districts of Pakistan. Recently, on September 9, Rubina Khalid held a live session with BISP beneficiaries who were worried about their delayed payments. She apologised and assured them that all the pending amounts would be reflected in the next payment in December. Beneficiaries must be patient and check their registration status on the BISP 8171 web portal.
How to check your registration status online via the 8171 portal
Applicants must register their wives through the NSER survey with NADRA officials at the BISP Tehsil offices to be eligible for the Benazir Income Support Scheme. Once your name is on the beneficiary list, you can check your CNIC update on the BISP website by following these steps:
- Visit the BISP website
- Click on “Check Eligibility”
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number and select “Submit”
- Your PMT score will be displayed on the next page.

Which steps should a woman follow to register their CNIC at the Tehsil office?
To join the Benazir Kafalat program, women need to follow a simple process at their local Tehsil centres to make sure that only eligible families receive assistance:
- Visit your district BISP Tehsil center.
- Contact the BISP Dynamic registration office.
- Give Form B and your children’s CNIC ID Card to the staff.
- Receive a token for the new or updated survey.
- Confirm the number assigned to you so you can visit the registration section. A data entry operator will then ask you for your personal and financial details.
- Do your thumb verification.
- You will receive a confirmation message from 8171.
- If eligible, households will receive an email confirming their status for the BISP 8171 program after further verifications.
Mandatory Documents for Benazir Kafalat Registration
When you visit the Benazir Tehsil office, ensure you have the following mandatory documents:
- Your CNIC ID card
- Form B for children, if require
- Income proof
- Electricity and gas bills.
