Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah leads an admissions drive with students

The Sindh Education Department organized a rally as part of its admission drive. The event was held between Razaqabad Government Girls Primary School and Razaqabad Government Secondary School and was attended by local leaders including Education Minister Zahid Ali Abbasi, social activist Shahzad Roy, MP Sajid Jokhio, and several others. Representatives of international organizations like UNICEF and JICA were also present.

The idea behind the Sindh rally is Parhay Ga Sindh, Barhay Ga Sindh

Participants of the rally carried placards and banners highlighting the importance of education. The slogan “Parhay Ga Sindh, Barhay Ga Sindh” echoed throughout the event. Sardar Ali Shah stressed that this admission drive was part of the government’s broader mission to increase enrollment and ease access to education across Sindh. He stressed the shared responsibility of parents and the state to ensure that children aged 5 to 16 receive an education.

Make education easy for everyone

The government’s target for this year is to enroll between 800,000 and 900,000 additional students in public schools. Currently, 5.2 million children are enrolled. The minister assured that qualified teachers would be hired and no school would close due to shortage of educators. He reiterated that teachers must be present and actively participate in classes.

Sardar Ali Shah also launches campaigns like School Tree Plantation, Tackles Textbook, and Solarization Issues

Sardar Ali Shah also announced a headmaster-led initiative to plant trees in schools. He acknowledged that problems in textbook distribution continued but confirmed that books had already been delivered to 138 talukas. The minister will personally monitor the delivery process to ensure that all students receive their materials.

In addition, the government is launching a solarization project to address heating and electricity problems in schools. To launch this initiative, the minister planted saplings in school premises.
