The Punjab Chief Minister has launched the Apni Chat Apna Ghar scheme, and online registration is now available through the ACAG web portal. This will allow residents to enroll in the scheme from the comfort of their homes. As part of this process, all applicants will have to complete the PSER survey, which is mandatory to get any government scheme, Maryam Nawaz announced.

Who is eligible for the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar scheme
The requirements for this new housing scheme are simple and are listed on the government’s official website, acag.punjab.gov.pk, where applications can be submitted. Below is a breakdown of the important criteria:
- As per NADRA data, the applicant must be the head of the family unit.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Punjab as mentioned in his 13-digit CNIC ID Card.
- At the time of submitting the online application, the applicant must be the sole owner of the land proposed for Construction of his house in Punjab.
- The land should not exceed 5 Marla in urban areas and 10 Marla in rural areas.
- The applicant must not have any criminal record including convictions for violent crimes, anti-state activities, or other serious crimes.
What is the 17500 loan distribution quota for the ACAG Punjab Housing Scheme
Punjab has been divided into three zones: North, South and Central. Here is how the 17,500 loans are distributed across these districts:
Northern Zone:
- Hafizabad: 302 loans
- Lahore: 1,690 loans
- Nankana Sahib: 314 loans
- Narowal: 357 loans
- Okara: 518 loans
- Pakpattan: 401 loans
- Sheikhupura: 512 loans
- Sialkot: 570 loans
Entire Northern Zone: 5,804 loans
Southern Zone:
- Bahawalnagar: 454 loans
- Bahawalpur: 517 loan
- Rahim Yar Khan: 714 loans
- Dera Ghazi Khan: 498 loans
- Khanewal: 458 loans
- Lodhran: 380 loans
- Fein: 726 loans
- Rajanpur: 368 loans
- Sahiwal: 443 Loans
- Vehari: 517 loans
Total South Zone: 5,074 loans
Central Area:
- Khushab: 243 loans
- Layyah: 366 loans
- Mianwali: 307 loans
- Muzaffargarh: 714 loans
Total Central Zone: 1,913 loans
Total for all areas: 17,500 loans

Step-by-step guide to apply online for the ACAG Government scheme
To apply, simply use the new online ACAG portal of the Punjab government. Follow these steps:
- Visit the website: acag.punjab.gov.pk
- Click on the “Sign Up” button on the top left corner of the page.
- Please fill out the application form with accurate information.
- After completing the form, click on “Register” to submit your request.
