The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) remains one of Pakistan’s most important initiatives, providing monthly installment assistance to eligible families across the country. Currently, more than 9.5 million families are taking advantage of monthly BISP payments through various schemes, including Kafaalat, Nashonuma, and Benazir Taleemi Wazaif. A recent survey by a team of experts estimates that more than Rs 300 billion was disbursed to these families in the financial year 2023-24.

The Economic Survey 2023-24 revealed that the government disbursed Rs 328.96 billion of the Rs 466 billion allocated to BISP beneficiaries in the last financial year.

BISP, which focuses on helping poor women and is aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), operates from its main office in Islamabad and is supported by 16 zonal offices, 154 district offices, and 257 sub-offices across the country.

According to the Economic survey documents, 9.4 million beneficiaries received Rs257.47 billion under the Benazir Kafalat unconditional cash transfer scheme and Rs55.97 billion under the conditional cash transfer scheme.

NSER re-survey update for 12500 Benazir Kafalat Payment

With the restart of BISP online registration, NSER registration centers have been set up at BISP Tehsil offices. Eligible families, usually those facing financial difficulties, can enroll in the scheme by visiting the NSER registration re-survey counter. After completing the registration process for 12500 Benazir Kafalat Payment, beneficiaries will receive installments in their account with every payment.

How to Check Your NSER Survey Online with CNIC

Through the BISP web portal, you can check your CNIC online, register for the NSER survey, and get the latest updates on your Benazir Kafalat Payment.

  1. To check the status of your investigation, visit 8171.bisp.gov.pk.
  2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC Number and captcha code in the field provided.
  3. Click on the submit button.
  4. The results of your NSER survey will be displayed on your screen.
