CM Maryam Nawaz announced that the Punjab Dastak app will soon add 77 new services, which will significantly improve public convenience across the province. This expansion means that tasks that earlier required multiple visits to government offices can now be done online, with the added benefit of free delivery by the Dastak facilitator.
During a recent media interview, Maryam Aurangzeb said that while the app currently supports 10 services, the expansion will soon bring 77 more to the platform.

At a press conference on Friday, Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman and Provincial Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb introduced several new initiatives, including plans to modernize existing projects.

Announcement of 10,000 e-bikes for registered girls
Another major initiative in the provincial budget aims to promote sustainable development and provide youth with the opportunity to buy electric bicycles.
In the first phase, Marriyum Aurangzeb announced that 20,000 electric bikes will be distributed to the youth and 10,000 applications have already been received from girls, indicating great interest from young women. He stressed that Punjab is moving towards eco-friendly modes of transport.

Government of Punjab to launch more than 50 new projects in the coming months
Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman shared details of the province’s sizable budget of Rs 5,646 billion. He stressed that the government of Punjab is actively working on more than 50 new projects, reflecting a forward-looking approach to development.
The development budget increased to Rs 842 billion from Rs 655 billion last year. In addition, Rs 375 billion has been allocated for wheat loan repayment, underscoring efforts to maintain economic stability.
