Important Details About Livestock Card

Farmers taking part in this scheme will get a loan of Rs 27,000 per animal, which is meant for essential items like feed and mineral supplements. After registration, beneficiaries can visit the nearest Bank of Punjab (BOP) branch to collect their card. The interest-free loan amount can be used to buy cattle feed, silage, and mineral mixtures.

Registration of Animals at District Hospitals

If you want to register animals in this scheme, then go to the nearest veterinary hospital with your cattle. At the hospital, officials will use the 9211 system to enter the details of your animals. This is an important step to activate your Punjab Livestock Card.

Eligibility Requirements for the Punjab Livestock Card Registration

Farmers eligible for the scheme must meet a few important criteria:

  • Own at least five male animals (cows or bulls).
  • Have a valid national ID card and SIM card registered in your name.

The Punjab government has allocated more than Rs 10 million to fund this scheme, which will assist local farmers by giving them the livestock resources and cash assistance. This initiative strengthens Punjab’s agricultural economy by providing targeted support to the farming community.
