Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur has launched a new app called ‘Ikhtiyar Awam Ka’ to enable residents to easily file complaints on various issues. The objective of this online platform is to address public concerns and promote effective governance across the province.

On Wednesday, the Civil Secretariat in Peshawar hosted a ceremony to officially launch the app. Chief Minister Gandapur discussed the app’s user-friendliness, which enables citizens to raise their concerns without visiting government offices.

24-Hour Service for KP Residents

The ‘Ikhtiyar Awam Ka’ platform provides residents with an effortless and simple method to file complaints. This service operates 24/7 and facilitates tracking and resolving issues in real time. Pakistanis living abroad can also use it to voice their concerns.

Advanced App Features for Public Convenience

Designed for efficiency, the app provides a reliable system for filing complaints. It includes control panels for different departments, thus ensuring better coordination and faster decision-making. The platform offers an easy despatch process, multiple communication channels, data protection, and AI-powered analytics. Users can access it through a mobile app, WhatsApp, email, phone, or even written applications.

Strengthen Government Accountability

Through this app, the Chief Minister can stay in touch with the provincial concerns, thereby improving accountability and governance. The objective of this platform is to increase transparency and public trust in the government’s affairs.

Chief Minister Gandapur stated the platform’s aim of providing quick solutions to public problems and reiterated the government’s focus on meeting the needs of the citizens. He also pledged to keep the complaints open until they receive a full resolution.

A 99-Point Agenda for Better Civil Administration

The Chief Minister mentioned that the civil administration has already implemented a 99-point ‘Awami Agenda’, which has led to significant improvements in service delivery. The Ikhtiyar Awam Ka app will accelerate progress toward these goals.

Cabinet members, senior officials, and law enforcement officials attended the event, many of them via video link.
