Online Registration Method for the Ehsaas Kafalat

Registering for the Ehsaas Kafalat program online is very simple and easy. Just follow these six simple steps:

1. Go to the official website.
2. Enter your CNIC (computerized ID) number in the field provided.
3. Just below the CNIC field, you will see a captcha code for verification.
4. Enter this captcha code in the field below.
5. Press the submit button.
6. Please wait for a moment while your registration is being processed.

Once you are done, you will receive a notification confirming your registration and eligibility. This message will inform you that you are ready to receive payments from your nearest Ehsaas center.

Check your registration status via SMS

Would you rather check the status of your registration via SMS? Here’s how:

1. Open the SMS app on your phone.
2. In the recipient field, type “8171”.
3. Add your ID number immediately after “8171”.
4. Send the message and wait for a response.

You will receive an SMS informing you whether your poverty score is below or above 30 and confirming your registration status. If you are eligible, congratulations, you are registered! Otherwise, the message will inform you.

What you need for a new registration

To start using the Ehsaas Kafalat program, make sure you have your CNIC at the NADRA office. You must be a Pakistani citizen as this initiative is government-sponsored and operates in the country. Please note that previous criminal charges or disqualifying factors may affect your eligibility.
