The new Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, recently addressed the beneficiaries of Khuli Kacheri in Noshera. She described the important aspects of the Benazir Kafaalat Programme and explained how they can fill out their survey form at the BISP tehsil office.
A partnership with six new banks across Pakistan was also announced to make sure that beneficiaries receive their payments on time and without deductions.
Senator Rubina Khalid’s Speech at Khuli Kacheri in Azakhel, Nowshera
On August 24, 2024, Senator Rubina Khalid addressed the Khuli Kacheri in Azakhel, Nowshera. She focused on the importance of providing basic education and empowering poor women, stressing that they are essential for a better future.
The Benazir Income Support Program embodies Mrs. Benazir Bhutto’s vision to improve the lives of poor women across Pakistan. BISP employees are dedicated to serving these women and solving their problems.
BISP Chairperson raised awareness about official helpline number “8171”
Senator Rubina Khalid regularly informs beneficiaries about the transparency of the BISP scheme and advises them on how to avoid fraud. During her speech at Noshera, she reminded beneficiaries that they would receive an SMS from helpline 8171 when their payments arrive and asked them to ignore messages from other numbers.

Announcement of new banking system for 12500 Benazir Kafalat payments
During her speech at the Khuli Kacheri, Rubina Khalid announced the launch of a new banking system to make sure that payments are received without deductions. This new update involves a partnership with six more banks that will enable beneficiaries to receive their monthly payments more efficiently.
Rubina Khalid stressed that this new financial structure will facilitate the transfer of payments to needy women using the resources of these six institutions.

BISP added 6 new banks for processing Kafalat payments
The banks responsible for processing payment distributions are:
- Bank Al Falah
- Bank of Punjab
- Mobilink Microfinance
- Telenor Microfinance Bank
- Habib Bank Limited (HBL)
- HBL Microfinance

What’s the BISP Next Installment schedule
According to official sources and an announcement by the BISP Director General, the beneficiaries can expect to receive the new installments within one to two months. These payments will be made to those who have completed their survey at the BISP Tehsil office.
There is also a possibility that the Kafalat payment may increase to Rs 12500 due to rising inflation. Women or families with PMT score below 30 are eligible for the scheme.
