Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced that beneficiaries who missed payments between April and June will receive them in August, providing relief to those worried about delays.

Delay in 8171 Messages
Beneficiaries who did not receive 8171 notifications between April and June will receive their payments in August. These payments have been delayed but not rejected. The money will be available in August and recipients will have to confirm their registration at local parks to receive the money.

Enrollment for those who were not eligible so far
CEO Naveed Akbar announced that those who have not yet received their money will receive it in August. People are advised to update their survey by visiting the nearest BISP tehsil office and checking with their CNIC for the latest status. Those who have been excluded from the program will have to wait until the new enrollment begins in September, at which time eligibility for future payments will be confirmed.
CNIC Verification for Benazir Kafalat Payments
Beneficiaries can check their CNIC status online to ensure they are registered and eligible to receive payments. Here’s how:
- Visit BISP’s official website: 8171.bisp.gov.pk
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number in the field provided and enter the captcha code.
- After completing each field, click on “Submit” or “Register”.
- Your BISP payment status will be displayed.

BISP Payment Collection Process
Beneficiaries who receive confirmation will need to go to the nearby Tehsil center to collect their money. They will need to provide their CNIC and any other proof required to verify their identity. Settlement centers are designed to ensure a smooth process.

BISP is also developing a digital payment option to improve efficiency. This technology, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology (MOIT), aims to track payments and reduce fraud.
