The new quarterly payments of the Benazir Kafaalat have begun in several districts of Pakistan, with women now receiving their payments at designated camps in each tehsil. Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) staff closely monitor the process for beneficiaries to receive their payments properly and with respect.
83,700 women receive BISP payments of Rs 10,500
BISP has been working transparently to distribute these quarterly payments to worthy women across the country. The camps established for this purpose have on-site vendors to handle the payments, with the aim of maintaining a fair and transparent process.
Raazia Yasmeen, Deputy Director of BISP Sargodha, confirmed that 83,699 women in seven tehsils of the district have already received their payments. This represents about half of the registered beneficiaries who have successfully collected their funds.
How many beneficiaries received a quarterly payment of Rs 10,500?
An official report says that payments of Rs 10,500 have started in all districts of Sargodha. Thousands of women have received their quarterly payments through a well-regulated process. Here are the latest figures for each Tehsil:
- Tehsil Sargodha: 28,608 out of 71,500 women have received their payments.
- Tehsil Bhalwal: 11,046 out of 14,789 beneficiaries.
- Tehsil Bhera: 5,621 women out of 8,617.
- Tehsil Sillanwali: 5,805 out of 16,924.
- Tehsil Sahiwal: 11,797 out of 13,426.
- Tehsil Shahpur: 9,169 out of 16,613.
- Tehsil Kot Momin: 11,653 beneficiaries out of 22,244 registered.
Facilities Provided to BISP Beneficiaries at the Camps
For the comfort of the women waiting for their payments, BISP has moved the payment mode to the campsites, equipped with proper seating, fans for ventilation, and drinking water. Raazia Yasmeen announced the implementation of measures to prevent any merchants or agents from making improper deductions from their payments. She encouraged the public to report any agents scamming beneficiaries, promising to take action to protect their rights.
