CNIC Verification and Online Registration for the 25000 EHSAAS Program
CNIC Identity Card registration and verification is currently open for the Ehsaas 25000 Scheme in 2024. Those who are already enrolled in the Benazir Income Support Programme do not need to reapply.

- Following the political change on April 10, 2022, when the PMLN government took control, the scheme previously known as Ehsaas 12000/14000 was renamed as BISP 8171 25000 Scheme.

The Federal Government increased the Ehsaas Kafalat amount from Rs 12000 to Rs 25000
Initially launched by the PTI government with Rs 12,000, the Ehsaas Kafalat scheme was later increased to Rs 14,000 and then to Rs 16,000 by the PML-N government. Today, the federal government has merged the Ehsaas scheme with BISP and increased the assistance to Rs 25,000. How to check your eligibility and apply online
To find out if you are eligible for the 25000 plan, SMS your ID number to 8171 and make sure that the Nadra card number does not contain any hyphens. Eligibility is based on poverty score as per the Nadra NSER database. If you are not eligible, you are advised to visit the nearest Nadra office and complete a questionnaire.
Also, an Ehsaas online app has been launched to make it easier to get the 25000 scheme. This app is available on both the App Store for iPhone users and the Play Store for Android users and makes the process easier. People living in flood-affected areas can use the 8171 web portal to enter their ID card number, SIM number, and the code provided to check their eligibility for the scheme.

To be eligible for the Ehsaas 25000 scheme, applicants must reside in flood-affected areas, not receive assistance from other government schemes, and must have completed the NSER survey.
