Online registration started for Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme 2024
The Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz launched a special initiative called ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’. The motive of this scheme is to provide 100,000 affordable housing units or apartments to qualified residents across the province, thereby boosting Punjab’s real estate sector. 6 Important Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme
This scheme is specifically designed for poor and needy families in Punjab, which means not everyone is eligible to apply. Following are the eligibility criteria for the ‘Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme’:
- As per NADRA records, the applicant must be the head of the family.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Punjab as per his ID card.
- At the time of submitting the online application, the applicant must be the sole owner of a plot of land in Punjab on which a house is to be built. The plot size should be 5 marlas or less in urban areas and up to 10 marlas in rural areas.
- The applicant must not have any criminal record including convictions for violent crimes or anti-state activities.
